It is a member of I.A.T.A (International Air Travel Association) since 1993 and M.A.I.T.A (Mauritius Association of I.A.T.A Travel Agents). Itineris has been serving both individual and corporate customers since 1988, with a dedicated team and 24/7 support. Its services portfolio comprises of:
- Air ticket reservation
- Accommodation booking
- Assistance with passport, visas and travel insurance
- Sales of holiday packages and group and escorted tours
- Cruise and pilgrimage packages
Job description:
The Travel Designer will report to the Agency Manager and will:
- Assist in the development, promotion and selling of packages to customers,
- Make flight reservations and issue air tickets by performing input of transactions on Amadeus / Galileo / websites,
- Make reservations of hotel accommodation, transfers, cruise, car rentals,
- Prepare quotations, credit and debit memos for invoicing,
- Ensure excellent relations with customers and other business partners,
- Handle administrative duties,
- Follow up on all reservations and proposed packages with suppliers and customers,
- Create artworks for communication and digital marketing purposes,
- Assist in the management and maintenance of Itineris Social Media page.
Skills and competencies required:
The successful applicant must have a minimum of three years of experience in the Travel Industry and have a good knowledge of Amadeus and Galileo software. He/She should have good communications skills, should be a good team player and have proper knowledge of Microsoft Office like Word and PowerPoint.
